Besides composing concert pieces for classical guitar and publishing teaching methods for this instrument, Angel G. Piñero's principal characteristic is that of a concert player, with a long career, as he has given hundreds of concerts in Spain, Europe and U.S.A. causing admiration of the different publics by playing indistincly the guitar with the right hand and the left hand, offering different sonorities (the fingertips and fingernails), according to the characteristic of the piece and its time and being the only concert player in the History of the Guitar who offers the two schools in one and only concert , the fingertip played among others by Francisco Tárrega and the fingernail played also among others by Andrés Segovia.

For this reason, Angel G. Piñero had to invent a guitar with groves along the neck to save his nails when playing with the right hand and had made another guitar to play with the left hand.

Angel G. Piñero's artistic characteristic is that of a studious artist forever looking for solutions to interpreting the two schools which exist to play the classical guitar, the fingertip and the fingernail, besides contributing by composing himself many concert pieces, original for guitar.
